Privacy Policy
SalonWins (“we”, “us”), operated by [Arcate Labs LLC, State of Operation], runs salonwins.com, a free AI visibility report card for salon owners and the done-for-you fixes priced from it. This policy explains what we collect, why, where it lives, and how you can control it. SalonWins is US-focused; if you visit from outside the US, you are sending your information to the US, and we follow the GDPR principles described below as a matter of best practice.
What we collect
- Business info you enter into the scan: salon name, address or city, website URL, social handles.
- Lead info you submit to unlock a report: your name, email address, and phone number.
- Scan output generated for you: the AI responses, grades, flagged statements, competitor benchmarks, priority actions, and the priced line items in your plan.
- Technical info standard for any web app: IP address, user agent, request timestamps, basic device and browser information. We use this for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.
- Payment info, when paid services go live, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
How we use it
- To generate and deliver your scan and report.
- To send your magic-link login and follow-up emails about your report and our services.
- To improve SalonWins, analyzing patterns across scans (in aggregate) to tune prompts and scoring.
- To prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Acceptable Use Policy.
Where it lives
- Supabase, our database. Reports, leads, and AI call logs are stored here.
- Resend, transactional email delivery (magic links, report-ready notifications, follow-ups).
- Vercel, hosting and edge delivery.
- Stripe, payments, when applicable.
- AI providers. Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and Perplexity receive the queries we run on your behalf. We don’t send them your lead contact info; we send queries about your business as it appears publicly.
- DataForSEO, used for the Google Reviews scanner. We send the business identifier you provide.
- Google Maps Places API, used to fetch the business photo and basic listing data.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We share data only with the service providers listed above, only as needed to run SalonWins, and under their respective terms.
Email and SMS
By submitting your email and phone number, you agree to receive your report and related follow-up messages. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any message. Transactional messages (your magic link, your report delivery, billing receipts) will still be sent because they are required to operate the service.
Your choices and rights
You can request to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information by emailing privacy@salonwins.com. Residents of California, Colorado, Virginia, and similar jurisdictions have specific rights under state privacy laws; we honor those requests. EEA/UK residents have rights under GDPR/UK GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection) and we honor those as a matter of policy.
Retention
We keep scan output and lead records for as long as is reasonably necessary to operate the service and provide follow-up. You can request deletion at any time; we will honor it except where retention is required by law or to resolve disputes.
Children
SalonWins is intended for business owners and operators. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be noted on this page.
